How to Choose an Attorney--Part 6

Find out what past clients think of him.  If you ask him for the names of past clients, he's going to give you names of clients he knows walked away from the experience happy.  Try to find out what other clients thought of him too.

Of course, no attorney is going to have every client walk away happy, especially in an area like family law.  So ask the former clients about issues addressed in this "How to Choose an Attorney" series.  Does the attorney return phone calls promptly?  Did he discuss costs early on?  Did he explain the weaknesses of the case early on?
