How to Choose an Attorney--Part 1

Pick an attorney who can tell you what you don't want to hear.  Chances are, not everything will always go your way.  A good attorney will be honest with you--she will tell you the weaknesses of your case as well as the strengths.  She's not afraid to tell you bad news if she has to.

If your attorney can't admit the weaknesses of your case early on (and almost every case has weaknesses), it might be time to find a better attorney.
